Hazard Evaluation Limited (HazEL, we, us, our) complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (the Act) when dealing with personal information. Personal information is information about an identifiable individual (a natural person).

This policy sets out how we will collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information.

We may change this policy by publishing a revised policy on the website. The change will apply from the date that we upload the revised policy.

No Personal Details for Website Visitors

For general visitors to our website, we collect no Personal Details.

Minimal Details for Registered Users

Registered Users of our software login to access analyses of chemical risk that we have prepared on their behalf. We hold minimal details of the user - a name, email address and the company for whom that user works. This data is stored securely on our web servers. it is accessible to certain HazEL employees who are are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee's termination.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive, then sent back to the server by your browser each time you access pages on our website.

HazEL only uses cookies to store and track information about your visit to the site so that we can see which website pages are read.
